What a success Newton Abbot's recent Christmas Dinner was.
The Dinner was held at Dainton Golf Club With over
ninety
people in attendance there was an excellent atmosphere. |

The top table
included such guests as Wing Commander Brian Wills-Pope and the Mayor of
Newton Abbot Cllr Daphne Watts. |
 |
The Dinner was excellent with three delicious courses including a starter,
main course and a dessert.
After dinner, port was served to celebrate the toasts that included
much
praise for 1322 Squadron throughout the year. |

Wing Commander Wills-Pope then presented
a Regional Certificate of Meritorious Service to Mrs Marion
Sayers, in thanks for her service to the Squadron. |
 |
Once all the toasts were finished Mr Vice himself, James Hilliard-Smith,
took the stage to entertain the guests remaining after the main guests had
left their table. He did an excellent job despite people laughing in
the
wrong place! |

After that many of the cadets got changed into casual clothes for the disco.

During the disco the draw was announced which finished off a superb
evening. |
