Twenty Cadets and two members of staff from the Squadron had a great time, discovering how the RAF Live and work.

Not all Cadets are in the photo - some where flying.

The Great Staff team and no major problems with the 50 Cadet's  mean' t full use were made of the facilities available.

The camp offered many activities for the Cadets - to many to detail here.

Cadets had an active Camp taking part in many varied activities. During the week all cadets flew in the Tutor, Jetstream or Dominie aircraft many flew in two aircraft. Various Sections were visited including the Fire Section and a Flight Simulator.
Cadets were invited to participate in Trent Wing's Field day (Trent Wing were at RAF Cranwell on the Sunday) We all stood tall - proud of all the Cadets who took part - we did extremely well in the Drill competition with only about 15 mins. practice.
Cadets shot using 0.22" target rifles and those suitable trained fired the L98 cadet target rifle.
We Visited the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and Newark Aircraft Museum where many historic aircraft are well looked after.
Cadets had a few Fun hours at Butlins Funcoast World at Skegness.
Sport, Initiative Exercises and Ten Pin Bowling meant everyone was busy using the excellent facilities available.
The Base has a good swimming pool many Cadets achieved the RAF Swimming Proficiency Certificate.
