Some of the VIPS pictured at the Drum-Head Service, where the new Squadron banner given by the council was blessed.

VIP's include the Lord Lieutenant of Devon, AOC Air Cadets, President of Devon & Somerset Wing ATC, Mayor of Newton Abbot, Teignbridge Council Chairperson, Local MP and many more!  

 

The new banner is passed to the Squadron Chaplain Graham Milford for it's blessing.
The Scroll of Honorary Citizenship is re-presented to the Squadron's Chairman and CO by the Mayor and former Mayor of Newton Abbot celebrating the Citizenship given to the Squadron by the Town Council.
1322 members are number one flight of number one squadron in the Devon & Somerset Wing Parade.

Over 500 members of the Wing marched through the centre of Newton Abbot on the Saturday afternoon. 

The Parade is led by The Avon Fire Brigade Corps of Drums.

The Parade Commander is Devon & Somerset's Wing Commander.

The AOC Air Cadets takes the Salute from all the flights - representing the 30 units of Devon & Somerset Wing ATC
Cadets assemble at the end of Parade near the famous St Leonard's Tower.

 

Cadets are then dismissed to socialize at LA Bowl.
